Swoon Worthy began in July 2010 to simply catalogue the ongoing work we were doing to our 100+ year old Edwardian semi since moving in that same year.

In the years since then, it has grown to one of the UK’s leading interior design blogs, whilst also covering various lifestyle topics such as food, fashion, beauty and travel.

In the past year, more than a million individuals gained inspiration an tips for achieving a beautiful home on a budget from an experienced Interior Design & DIY enthusiast with an authentic and warm personality.

Kimberly has been featured across national and international press including BBC Radio, The Independent, The Daily Mail and Hello! Magazine. Her blog has won multiple awards including Amara Interior Blog Awards Best Home Styling Blog 2019, Amara’s Bloggers Choice Award in 2019 and 2016, Pinterest UK Blog Awards Best Interior Inspiration 2019 and Vuelio’s Best DIY & Interior Design Blog in 2017.

Meet Kimberly Duran

DIYer. Design Lover. Pet Obsessed. Freelance Writer. Content Marketer.

Hello! I’m Kimberly and I’ve loved interior design for as long as I can remember. It began in my childhood when I claimed my mother’s interior design coffee table book as my own and that love continued until I found myself decorating flats for my friends after they’d seen what I’d done in my own. However, it wasn’t until 2010 when I purchased our first home – an Edwardian home on the outskirts of Manchester in need of a refresh and started my blog, Swoon Worthy – that my passion was fully realised.

On my blog, I share everything from large-scale DIYs to crafty projects, trends that are catching my eye and I help others to express their personality in their homes, regardless of their style – from styling tips and budget decorating ideas to luxury splurges and simple ideas to make the most of what they have.

In March 2018, we sold our Manchester home and moved into a 4-bed Victorian home ripe for renovation in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and the journey has come full circle as we make this home our own.

A few things about my style… I am an unashamed maximalist who loves interiors with personality: Gold luxe finishes, cheeky animal prints, touchable textural fabrics, a touch of vintage and bohemian-style comfort. When they come together, I like to describe the resulting mix as Eclectic Boho Glam.

Today, millions of readers across the globe look to Swoon Worthy for accessible design ideas and inspiration for their homes and their lives.

Styling & Photography

See your loaned products brought to life with creative styling and photography done in my own home to show off your products in a lifestyle setting. Hi-res images will be available to you for your own marketing with worldwide usage rights.

Guest Blogging on Your Site

As an experienced interior design writer, I am happy to write a post for you on an interior design topic to appear on your own blog. I will then promote the article after publication on my Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Speaking Engagements

From smaller local events and panels to running workshops or speaking at large national conferences and events, I will appear at your event as a guest speaker on topics from blogging and social media to interior design tips and trend forecasts.
