So first off, I just thought I’d share how I wrapped up my DIY Essential Oil Fragrance Gift Sets today. You may recall that earlier this month, I shared room fragrance spray, home made soap and soy wax candles – all with printable labels to create a matching set.
I was wrapping them up the other day and figured I’d just share my really simple wrapping method!
I always save packaging if I think I might use it again and I had a few boxes from my deliveries of My Little Box that I knew would be perfect for this. I also had saved the black crinkle paper packaging from Whimsy and Wilbur (see all this stuff can be reused!) so I used that too.
I simply covered the tops and bottoms of the boxes individually with wrapping paper first. If you have a nice sturdy box with a cover, they are always worth hanging on to and the truth is, I’ve always loved gift boxes – they make a gift feel a little more special, don’t they? I just use double-sided tape to secure the paper to them then fill each box about 3/4 of the way full with crinkle paper. You can nestle each of the fragrance trio snugly into the paper to ensure they don’t move around in the box.
Then I cover the items with a little more crinkle paper and close the box snugly… (yes, I’m showing you how to SHUT A BOX. A new high here on Swoon Worthy…)
I just tied the ribbon as you would normally do – criss-crossed around the bottom, up to the top of the box and then tucked each ribbon under creating a cross and then tied in a knot.
At this point, I like to thread the ribbon through my gift tag and tuck a little pick into it as well for a touch of greenery and then tie the bow. You can also thread small Christmas decorations into it which always looks cute and gives the receiver a little extra present.
And that’s it! Super simple but quite effectiveΒ I think.
So that’s me done for 2016 (aside from the 42 other presents I have yet to wrap!). I’m going to take a couple of weeks off the blog until the new year to relax and enjoy the festivities of Christmas and New Year!
As always, I wanted to say a very huge THANK YOU for joining me here on my little blog this year.Β I know I try to say as often as possible how much I appreciate you guys popping by and itβs because I really want you to know that I do, so much so that I struggle to put it into words. So for all my lovely readers, fellow bloggers, commenters, tweeters, emailers and those that simply and quietly read along – I’m sending you huge Christmas smooches.
I want to wish you and yours a very happy and healthy holiday season (or a wonderful end of year) however you may be spendingΒ or celebratingΒ it.
And now, I’m offΒ to eat my weight in turkey, drink way too many cocktails and watch excessive amounts of Netflix in a onesie! I’ll still be around on social media if you want to follow along:

I’ll see you back here in 2016!
Have a great and well deserved break. Not sure how I’m gonna cope on Monday without the first of my thrice weekly fixes – I’ll get through it I’m sure (sniff).
Enjoy yourself and see you on the other side.
