While I don’t normally like to do two blog posts in a row which encourage you to shop, I really couldn’t resist sharing some of the summer sales with you today. Mid-summer is normally a really good time to stock up on anything you need in your home as stores are clearing out their stock to make way for the Autumn/Winter collections and well, you can get a hell of a bargain if you’re in the market for something new.

The thing is, trawling through all the sales emails and going to each individual website is super time-consuming so I figured I’d save you the trouble of the whole needle-in-a-haystack process and just share a bunch of items I spied that look great and also will save you some cash for dressing up your home.

I tried to keep to a mid-range budget here but you’ll find plenty of things that are less than a tenner as well as great deals on larger purchases like sofas or rugs and I even threw in a couple of more extravagant buys because who doesn’t like saving money? No one, that’s who.

Accessories are always my favourite way to refresh a room – from styling your bookshelves to putting the finishing touches on your coffee table, these items are just a nice way to make your space look just that bit more pulled together.

I was most surprised with the Debenham’s sales – not a retailer I would normally buy from but they have some super cute stuff if you are willing to dig a bit! Oliver Bonas and Anthropologie also have some great bargains so definitely worth a look.

Best of the Summer Sales – Textiles

I tried to look out for items that will easily take you from the warmer months into the cooler. A new rug or a set of towels will always create some impact, whether you are just layering textures or you’re looking to add some colour to your space.

There are plenty of decent retailers who have smaller items like cushions, throws and towels on sale but I was most impressed with River Island Home’s selections – there are so many items I loved so worth a closer look.

And finally, if you are looking to make a bigger purchase in your home, you might want to start from my selections below. I found that MADE’s sales were by far the best in terms of styles and colours available. I mean, how great is that wardrobe?! But Oliver Bonas and Anthropologie had a few gorgeous pieces as well.
