I have to credit the talented Erin of the rather lovely blog Clementine and Olive for encouraging me to take the plunge on my latest dining room project. But before I show you what I did, I just wanted to show you the kinds of wonderful projects that Erin completes.

Ya see, Erin takes rather blah looking furniture and turns them into room stealers with her incredible eye for a bargain and fabulous vision. I love her style and am always amazed at the projects she takes on as a single mum with two gorgeous little twin boys in tow.
Warning: Prepare to die of cuteness overload…
Have you died? Yes, I was afraid of that.
But wait, you can’t gasp your last breath until you see her OTHER beautiful creations… Like this amazing peacock blue chest of drawers with gold hardware…
That colour is making my palms sweaty, I love it so much.
Her latest project was an oriental sideboard – that hardware is just UHH.MAY.ZING.
And how about this little side table? I would love to find something like this for my bedroom. Damn you, Erin, for living so far away from me. Sigh.
Check out the detail on this piece… so gorgeous. She creates the loveliest vignettes as well, something I admittedly struggle with.
And she chooses the most gorgeous fabrics to finish her pieces with as well.
Also? I need a campaign dresser in my life. Like, seriously. |
Is it any wonder why I so admire her and her impeccable taste? She’s got amazing style and while some of what she refurbishes and brings back to life ends up in her pretty home, much of it she sells via her website and a shared shop in Seattle. So if you are in Seattle, I secretly hate you wish I was there too.
And tomorrow I’m going to share with you what I’ve done to my own furniture with her encouragement because not only is she amazingly talented, she’s also pretty cool as well with sharing her knowledge!
Go check out her blog for even more swoon-inducing loveliness.

All visions of loveliness! I just learned of her blog recently and admittedly haven't had a chance to thoroughly check it out, but I did poke around a little and I added her to my Google feed. Now you're encouraging me to go back for more! You know I love a good furniture re-do. Now I'm curious about your latest dining room project!!
Aww, the twins are adorable!!! I am loving all of Erin's gorgeous painted furniture. The oriental sideboard is incredible, especially with that hardware, and oh, the peacock blue dresser is SO pretty! It never fails to amaze me how paint can transform an old piece of furniture. Thank you for the intro, I'll check out her blog.

Thank you also for your comment, my lovely. My
