I came across David Wiseman’s work the other day and had to share because I think I’m slightly obsessed by his gorgeous installations.
Each porcelin bloom is handcrafted in his studio in Los Angeles, California as prefabricated tiles to be lovingly reassembled as intertwining branches that cover the ceilings of his massive installations.
Christian Dior is a client and David made his Shanghai flagship store into something quite beyond extraordinary.
For a fantastic interview, read more about him at Sight Unseen.
I think I’m in love.
Totally beautiful! x

So delicately beautiful! Truly extraordinary.

Hope you're having a great week, my lovely. The sunshine has been pretty much constant here plus got the man all myself till next week so we've been abstaining from technology to soak up more sun and explore more Nottinghamshire sites… we're having more fun than the typical holiday abroad! :-)

Meera xx
Hey, these are looooovely! Oooh, and guess what? I FINALLY found some lights that I love for our kitchen. I got them from a shop on ebay. Gotta love ebay!!!

They're not quite up to these beauties though!!

Sarahx
Meera, so happy to hear you are enjoying the time off – hasn't it be fabulous with this glorious weather? I may never go back to work – fingers crossed on winning the lottery ;)

Sarah, SO EXCITED about your kitchen lights – can't wait to see them!!! And yes, I don't quite know what I'd do without eBay, it's a godsend!

xxx
So very ornate and beautiful. I love the second to last pic, it is very fairytaleesque.
Thanks for your response to my whinge. I sometimes feel a bit disappointed by lack of followers and feedback to my blog, but the upside is definitely meeting people like you, through tinternet land. I think we would have a cracking time in the pub, you just sound like someone I would really get on with.<
I like the massive work over ceilings which is really interesting and amazing. Decoration around fireplace also amazing.
