Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend! I’m hoping to finally share our new slate kitchen floors with you this week which has taken a lot longer and a lot more work than we’d initially anticipated!
I came across this beautiful living room on Inspire My House Pretty and just had to share. Careen is a fellow UK blogger with impeccable taste and she’s just had the most gorgeous baby boy so do pop by and say hello!
Now this gorgeous space is undeniably feminine with the blush pink sofa and fluffy white cushions but the contrast with black in the cushions, picture frames, mirror and trim give it a bit of a rock n’ roll edge, don’t you think?
I do love me a bit of Hollywood Regency and this is a great example of how it can be done well. From the bamboo chairs to the lucite coffee table, the whole place screams glamour but I don’t think it’d be too difficult or too astronomically expensive to replicate.
Would you use pink in your own interiors? Or are you more like me, happy to admire from afar but your other half would never in a million years go for it?
oh thank you for the lovely mention and i love the fact that you show much more appreciation for the images you find lol, i just stick them up on my blog whilst you always give a lovely explanation. I want a room just like this in my house!!! my prints finally arrived for my livingroom yesterday (shipped over from the us), just need to get them framed now, cant wait to get them up x
loving the feminine swagger going on in that room! there's always a bit o pink over here but it won't turn your stomach. also i am often the pink in the room–not bright, but the palest of blush pink.

just found a fabric tonight that has some pink (hot pink) and makes me so happy that i may use it as inspiration for my office re-style. who knows? tomorrow's mood might be
That room looks absolutely lovely in the picture, but there is no way anything like that will ever happen in my home. I love using a bit of pink every room, whether it's flowers, or in an art piece, or a little in a cushion… so I'm like you – I'll admire that sofa from afar :-)

Meera xx
Hell yeah I would use pink in my interior. I love pink! If I had a pink sofa in my living room I would never let anyone near it!

But I don't think I would really go far enough to actually buy it. While I do love pink very much I tend to go for turquoise, teals, yellows, and gray. Every wall in the apartment is painted gray.
I've ALWAYS loved this room. It's so fem, and it makes me want to decorate with pink more…. ya know? Glad you like my blog. :) your kitchen is really looking amazing!
That room was designed by Erin gates of elements of style blog – i think I am right but double check.
